In our club we train in Tallinn and at Kose. We have around one hundred active members, of whom most are schoolchildren. Our club trains Motobuha Shitôryû karate - we take part in Estonian Karate League tournaments, jūjutsu competitions, etc. Our club organizes a big camp every year for everybody, and also at least one competition in kata and kumite for all club members.
Our club is affiliated with the following organisations:
dai = "big", go = "talk"
The club's name Daigo means in Japanese buddhist enlightenment and knowledge, since one major aim of karatedô is "enlightening" people or leading to the way of karate. Who is strong in karate, is strong also in the daily life and other activities.
